In tonight’s Emmerdale, Robert Sugden faces all-out chaos now that his prison husband Kev is living in the same village as Aaron Dingle. With Kev fresh out of jail and moving in with Charles Anderson, it seems almost impossible for Robert to keep Aaron in the dark over what’s really going on here.
Meanwhile, Marlon Dingle continues to fret about the wellbeing of his daughter April Windsor. When he pushes Dylan Penders for answers, will the teen be forthcoming over what’s going on?

1. Robert lies to keep Kev on side

When Robert arrives home at Keeper’s Cottage, he’s shocked to find his sister Victoria exchanging pleasantries with Kev. As Kev has been released from prison, he’s keen to get to know Victoria better so they can all be a proper family.
Victoria is flabbergasted when she realises that Robert has told Kev she recently underwent a serious brain operation, which “explains” his lack of contact with Kev in recent months. Robert’s lies are getting more elaborate by the day – how on earth can he keep this up?
2. Charles and Claudette welcome their new houseguest

Charles and Claudette prepare to play host to Kev following his release from jail. Claudette sets some ground rules, warning Kev that she doesn’t want any nonsense under her roof.
The reality dawns on Robert that Kev and Aaron will now be crossing paths on a regular basis all around the village. It’s surely only a matter of time before the truth comes out…
3. Marlon wants answers

Marlon gets stressed over being isolated from April’s life now that she’s living in the B&B. He tries to secure some answers from Bob Hope, but Bob suggests that he’d be better off asking Dylan.
When Marlon takes this on board, Dylan’s under serious pressure to reassure April’s dad that everything is fine. Will Marlon buy it?
4. Ray and Celia meet up

Ray Walters and Celia Daniels meet up to compare notes on April and Dylan.
The twisted villains are stressed after a terrified April fled from her sinister hotel room meeting with Tim last week. Will they come up with a plan to get their manipulation back on track?
5. Joe’s left furious over Carl
ITV
The police inform the King and Tate families that the Carl and Clemmie case won’t be taken any further.
This infuriates Joe, who believes that Carl deserves a tough punishment.
6. Claudette opens up over the past
ITV
Claudette is clearly feeling heavily invested as Liam Cavanagh launches his prostate cancer checking campaign after his own recent scare.
When Liam is curious over the reasons why, Claudette reveals that she lost her brother to the illness.
