Home and Away spoilers follow for episodes airing in the UK this week.

Home and Away’s Lacey Miller is set to cross the line as she decides to take matters into her own hands and secretly investigate the soap’s new villain, but will her plans backfire and land her and her family in a whole world of trouble?

Lacey and her sister Jo Langham lost their mum in a car crash years ago, and their policeman dad David has recently re-opened an investigation in order to find out exactly what happened.

In scenes set to air on Tuesday and Friday this week, David continues to investigate Councillor Craig Wendell, the owner of the car involved in the crash.

Lacey is desperate to know what David knows, so pushes Jo into being more manipulative in order to get the info out of their dad. They tell David that Jo is having a panic attack in order to get him to leave the office, so Lacey can sneak in and investigate.

David returns home and is annoyed to find Lacey isn’t there, especially after he specifically told her to stay with her sister. Meanwhile, at the station, Lacey charms the constable into getting into David’s office and takes photos of all the notes he’s made.

When David gets to the station, he gets a warning to cease his investigation from the Councillor’s lawyer, and his superintendent later has a go at him too.

Later on, David opens up about the situation to Justin Morgan, and his emotions are running high.

At the end of the week, Theo Poulos is shocked to find out that Lacey spent all of last night outside Councillor Wendell’s house.

He learns that she plans to get in touch with him by calling him up under a fake name, and she refuses to listen when he tells her that this is a terrible idea and she should drop it.

She later tells him that she’s hit a dead end in trying to secure a meeting, but it turns out to be a lie, as viewers will see her making a blackmail threat over the phone.

Lacey’s clearly playing with fire here, but will her risk pay off?

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
