“Warring rivals, messy romantic entanglements, and betrayed friendships spill drama both in and out of the boat. Not to mention her complicated relationship with her mom, Ella (Paré). The team’s a mess, her life’s a mess. Can she fix both and win?”

Rounding out the cast, Samuel Braun (The Marshmallow Experiment, Time Cut) will appear as Josh, while Kyle Clark (The Baby-Sitters Club) has been cast as Cam, and Thomas Cadrot (Firefly Lane, Scream VI) is billed as Coach Hayden.

Simon Barry, who recently collaborated with Martineau on Bet, will direct the pilot episode.

With Crew Girl officially in production, Netflix has given fans a first look at the cast, including a newly blonde Martineau, who has transformed her hair for the show, after sharing a couple of photos from the idyllic set. Responding in the comments, Martineau replied: “SO EXCITED”.

Currently, a release date has yet to be announced, but with filming already underway, Crew Girl will likely premiere in 2026.
