ITV has confirmed when Big Brother will premiere its new season.
2025 has already had a — very dramatic — season of Celebrity Big Brother, but there’s still a civilian season to look forward to.
And fans don’t have long to wait, as it will kick off with a live launch show on Sunday 28 September at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, hosted by Will Best and AJ Odudu.

The official synopsis reads: “Viewers can expect more new twists and turns, elaborate tasks, intense nominations and live evictions as the cast of Housemates go up against one another in a bid to be crowned the winner, and walk away with a life-changing cash prize.”
A few other details have been revealed, including that the season will last seven weeks and the house has been redesigned yet again, with the makeover described as “easy on the eye”…

The first civilian season on ITV saw contestants Jordan Sangha (the winner) and Henry Southan develop a romance and go on to become a couple outside of the house.
However, earlier this year they announced that they had split after about 18 months together.
“After many happy times, memories and precious experiences, Henry and I have parted ways,” Jordan said. “I want to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x.”
Big Brother returns to ITV2 and ITVX on Sunday 28 September at 9pm with a live launch show.
