Love Island: All Stars spoilers follow.
While everybody is accustomed to drama in Love Island: All Stars, tonight’s episode saw fans particularly stunned by a remark from Whitney Adebayo. Though she immediately felt bad, some claimed that the comment was “rude”.
The instalment began with Shaq Muhammad and Jess Harding saying their goodbyes to their co-stars following their dumping from the Villa, with host Maya Jama interviewing the pair following their exit.
After the pair left, Whitney confided in close friend Scott van-der-Sluis that she would have rather Shaq stayed instead of Konnor Ewudzi, despite the fact that she is currently coupled up with the latter.
Whitney shared this remark with Konnor while the pair lay in bed together, and asked if the sentiment was a “bit shit”, to which Konnor said it was. The following morning, he told Curtis Pritchard that it was a “weird” comment which “spoke volumes”.

Curtis, who is coupled up with Millie Court, remarked that Whitney’s comment was “wild”, and the feeling was echoed by several viewers on social media as they were in utter disbelief at Whitney’s words.
“SHE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT TO HIS FACE,” wrote one viewer on X, with another remarking: “Still thinking about what Whitney said to Konnor. Whitney if you wanted Shaq to stay so bad, you should have gone with him! Because what was that?!”
“Why would Whitney tell Konnor that? It’s fine not wanting Shaq to go, but why would you have preferred Konnor when Curtis was right there? She doesn’t think sometimes,” wrote another fan, while a fourth viewer said the remark was “rude”.

“[I] love Whitney but she should have told Konnor before she wasn’t feeling it before because what she said then was cruel to someone who has only been kind to her,” added another viewer, while a sixth and seventh said the comment was “crazy” and “diabolical”.
To make matters worse for Konnor, Whitney was soon whisked away to another Villa as six famous faces from the US arrived as bombshells. Eight existing islanders from the UK moved across, with new couples being a possibility…
