Coronation Street kicks off Megan Walsh’s downfall tonight as Leanne Battersby catches a glimpse of her threatening Sam Blakeman.
Megan seizes her latest chance to intimidate Sam after he’s rushed to hospital following a shock collapse – but is she pushing her luck too far this time?
Monday’s episode sees Sam lose consciousness and fall to the ground outside the café. When an ambulance arrives on the scene, paramedics discover a clue to the collapse – Sam’s secret stash of ADHD medication in his pocket.

Sam has been misusing the medication as a study aid after being manipulated by Megan, who has been trying to make him doubt his academic progress.
At the hospital, Sam regains consciousness and lies to Leanne, Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby – claiming he only took the pills because he was worried about his exams.
Leanne suspects that there’s much more to it, but she struggles to get any clarity from her traumatised stepson when she gently questions him.
Back on the cobbles, Megan informs Will Driscoll of what’s happened and he immediately expresses regret over how they’ve pushed Sam to breaking point by bullying him into silence regarding their inappropriate relationship.

Megan promises Will that they have nothing to worry about, as she’ll speak to Sam and make another attempt to keep him quiet.
However, when Megan sneaks her way into Sam’s hospital room and threatens him to stick to their agreement, Leanne is watching from the doorway. How much has she seen?
Corrie bosses have promised that this week’s episodes are the beginning of the end for Megan, culminating in Eva Price informing her partner Ben that his teenage son has been groomed.
