EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has hinted at the outcome of Jasmine Fisher’s trial in some new advanced spoilers. With the character potentially looking at several years behind bars, what does the future hold for her?

It’s been a whirlwind few months for Jasmine since her arrival in Walford in September, she first embarked on a romance with Oscar Branning. It soon became apparent that she had other reasons for being in Albert Square, however.

It was eventually revealed that she was the long-lost daughter of Zoe Slater and Anthony Trueman, and had come to East London to seek revenge on her mother with some help from Chrissie Watts.

Eventually, she softened her stance regarding Zoe, but it ended in tragedy as she murdered her father in The Vic. She was later arrested for the crime, but has pleaded self-defence ahead of the trial.

With the Slaters and Truemans divided over whether Jasmine is a malicious killer or an unfortunate victim, and the arrival of twin brother Josh Goodwin being another surprise, it’s set to be a busy time before the verdict is read in the episode on 9 April.

Naturally, the aftermath of the trial will be equally dramatic, and the BBC has, rather handily, prepared some advanced spoilers for the week commencing 13 April, all of which can be read below.

Monday 13 April – 7.30pm

It’s the day of Vicki and Ross’s stag dos, Jasmine starts to feel part of the Slaters, and Bea makes a decision about her love life.

Tuesday 14 April – 7.30pm

A situation escalates for Vicki, Oscar attempts to avoid Josh, and Bea grows jealous of Honey.

Wednesday 15 April 7.30pm

Vicki starts to become paranoid, Priya continues to worry about Ravi, and Oscar puts Lauren and Max to the test.

Thursday 16 April – 7.30pm

Vicki is out of options, and Max and Lauren continue to compete.

The logline for Monday’s (13 April) instalment is perhaps the most telling, as it hints that Jasmine is released from prison. Of course, this could be a red herring too, with the Slaters merely supporting her after the verdict.

Either way, we’ll have to wait to find out, but it won’t be the only bit of drama for Jasmine as she is soon set to be involved in a love triangle. Following her romance with Oscar, he gets involved with Josh, unaware that he’s the twin brother of his former flame!

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
