Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks is set to introduce the fourth member of the Keane family next week, as newcomer Maddox finds out about the dramatic car crash his loved ones were involved in. But as the family begin to settle into the village, it becomes clear that they won’t be making amends with their relatives anytime soon…

Earlier this month, the Keane family’s moving van was run off the road by Charlie, with the teen’s reckless driving causing serious injuries for Vicky, Frankie and Caleb. The police have been keen to speak to Charlie this week, but he eventually made a statement saying that it was Jonah who was driving dangerously, not him.

It was previously announced that Sam Meyer would be joining the show as another member of the new clan – and it’s now been confirmed that he makes his first appearance as Maddox next week.

Maddox, a social media influencer, has been on a ski trip, and next week he arrives in the village after getting a lift from Pearl, who is coming back from visiting her granddaughter Zoe in Dubai.

While Maddox is excited to move to Hollyoaks and see his family, he has no idea about the chaos that has unfolded. As Jonah thanks Tony for saving the lives of his family, Maddox reunites with his mum, and it’s then that he and Pearl discover what happened in the crash.

The family come together and head to the hospital to visit Caleb, who is struggling after being told that he’s suffered a serious spinal cord injury.

Later, Pearl introduces herself to Beth and Jonah as Jack’s fiancée and brings them some useful items for their new house. Meanwhile, it seems like Maddox already has a fan in the village, as Ant tells his siblings that he follows the newcomer on social media.

Pearl offers to help Beth and Jonah move in properly and offers her support to the couple, making clear that she knows what it’s like to not have family around.

However, Jack is having a tricky time, as he is caught in the middle of Nancy and Beth, who are arguing over who is responsible for the horrific crash. As he is connected to both families, he doesn’t know which side to take.

Jack goes to the police station and demands an update on the crash investigation, as the conflict is tearing his family apart. It’s Vicky who could give everyone answers, but she remains in a coma.

Will Vicky wake up and give her side of the story?
