Love Is Blind UK couple Sammy Harper and Jon Harrold have shared a huge relationship update after being cut from season 3 of the hit reality show. The couple met while filming season 3 of Love Is Blind UK.
After becoming engaged sight unseen, they were sent home, and none of their scenes aired. The UK version of the show premiered its third season earlier this month, with six couples making the final cut, though The Mirror reported that 14 engagements took place.
With so many engagements, a record-breaking number, executive producer Nazleen Karim and series editor David Cheesman told the publication they were forced to send eight couples home.

Harper and Harrold, who describe themselves as “the unseen couple”, have now shared an update with fans, documenting their year since filming wrapped.
Taking to Instagram, the couple revealed that they are still together and still engaged, while sharing a monthly update. According to the couple, they reconnected 48 hours after getting engaged after a producer shared Harper’s number with Harrold.
“Our Love Is Blind journey was over. Our actual relationship? Well… that was entirely up to us,” they wrote, sharing screenshots of their first text messages to each other. In September, the couple said they met face-to-face and booked a trip to Málaga, Spain, to “figure out if we actually liked each other”.
They stayed engaged, and in November 2025, after “a lot of explaining”, they introduced one another to their families. Their long-distance relationship continued and things “got serious” in February 2026 when they adopted a dog named Poddy to begin their “little family”.
The couple said that March is when it “started to feel like real life”, writing: “Somewhere along the way, we stopped feeling like two people who met on Love Is Blind. Suddenly it was less ‘experiment’ and more ‘whose turn is it to pick up the dog s—?’ Turns out we quite liked our very unTV-worthy little life.”
In April, “everything changed” when Harper found out she was pregnant, with the couple saying they were “completely over the moon, not knowing this little moment would later shake our world completely”.

After Harper had a “silent miscarriage” in June, the couple said: “Grieving whilst still living opposite sides of the country was one of the hardest things we’ve had to face together.”
Following “a few really tough weeks”, the pair said they had started to feel like themselves again, saying it “brought us closer than ever”.
They concluded their post, writing: “And here we are… Almost one whole year later, we finally get to talk about us.
“We didn’t get picked to continue on Love Is Blind. At the time, that felt like the end of our story. Turns out, it was the beginning of the best bit. No cameras. No experiment. No guarantees. We just kept choosing each other.”
The Love Is Blind: UK season 3 reunion will drop on Sunday, 30 August at 9pm on Netflix, while the show itself is available to watch on Netflix.
