Noah Jupe has been tapped to join the MCU in an undisclosed role in Avengers: Secret Wars— and fans just have the perfect character in mind for the Hamnet star.
The actor, whose credits include the two A Quiet Place films and The Night Manager, is reportedly appearing in the Avengers film scheduled for December next year. As reported by Deadline, Jupe is said to play “a key part” in the superhero film, though Marvel hasn’t yet officially commented on the casting news.
With Avengers: Doomsday only a few months away, fans have started speculating about Jupe’s involvement in Secret Wars. Many have theorised he’ll be playing the adult version of Franklin Richards, aka the son of Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm/Invisible Woman.

On Reddit, some have even pointed out a resemblance between Jupe and Pedro Pascal, who plays Mister Fantastic in the MCU after debuting in the role in 2025’s Fantastic Four: First Steps alongside Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman. (Pascal, Kirby and their First Steps co-stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn are all returning in Doomsday.)
“Older Franklin?” a Redditor suggested, as another person replied: “I could definitely see him as Pedro’s son.”
“Franklin Richards. Calling it now,” was another comment, while a fourth fan argued: “I could see it. You couldn’t fault anyone for thinking he’s Pedro Pascal’s son irl.”
Other Marvel fans have speculated that Jupe could be part of the MCU’s X-Men contingent and take on the role of Iceman.
However, someone noted how the actor hasn’t been announced for Marvel’s star-studded X-Men movie, which will see his Romeo and Juliet co-star Sadie Sink reprise the role of Jean Grey from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

“Why would they announce him for Secret Wars instead of X-Men tho?,” they reasoned.
If Jupe really is to appear in Secret Wars, the flick would make for a reunion with Sink, who’s rumoured to star in it as Jean.
Other fan theories about Jupe’s rumoured role included Molecule Man, Nightcrawler and even a new incarnation of Iron Man.
Avengers: Doomsday is released in cinemas on 18 December. Avengers: Secret Wars is slated to release on 17 December 2027.
