Pauline says: “Big Brother has been something that I’ve been watching since I was five, and it’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
“It’s just too good to pass up, especially because the last three years of my life I’ve spent caring for my mother. And I also lost my father in March. So, I thought, ‘Let me try and do something, that if the world was ending tomorrow, what would you do?’ I like to take on new opportunities because life is short.”
She adds: “I’m a very bubbly person. It takes a lot to push me over the edge. My default setting is laid back, very calm. I always try to see the silver lining, and I think I have a lot of patience. Tonnes of patience. I think I bring this sort of energy like, ‘Let’s get on with it’, especially with tasks. I like to see something through to the end.
“I also hope to bring about awareness and a new way of people relating to others. I think a lot of time we don’t give each other grace or society’s angry all the time, for whatever reason.”
