Speaking recently to Digital Spy, Eva actor Catherine Tyldesley explained that Ben has nothing to worry about regarding Adam.

“The day that Eva left Weatherfield, Adam was slightly heartbroken but said: ‘I really care about you’,” she noted. “They’ve maintained that and they’ve stayed in touch. You can be friends with an ex – it’s rare, but it happens – and they’ve kept that.

“Ben doesn’t have anything to worry about there. Although he might think he does – and Maggie might think that as well.”

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
