Gisele Bündchen shared the exact ab workout routine she swears by at 45 in a new video shared on February 23.The supermodel revealed these ab exercises have been a game-changer for her core strength after giving birth to her third child, a boy, with husband Joaquim Valente.Bündchen also showed off her dewy, makeup-free complexion while walking followers through her workout routine.

Gisele Bündchen is taking fans along on her exact workout routine at 45—and revealing the game-changing ab exercises she wishes she knew before giving birth to her third child, a baby boy, with husband Joaquim Valente last February. In a rare, makeup-free video shared on Monday, Bündchen showed off her glowing, fresh-faced complexion as she revealed she began these “five slow, intentional movements around eight weeks postpartum.”

“I normally don’t do this here, but I really feel these exercises have been amazing,” she shared in the February 23 Instagram video, which shared a glimpse into her “personal postpartum experience and what worked for [her] body.” 

“They’ve really helped me gain my core strength back after my third pregnancy. And I wish I knew them before, because I didn’t do them in my other pregnancies and I feel my core is much stronger now, and I’m 45, so I think they’re really good,” the runway star explained. “And I wanted to share them with you because they might help you, too.”

Making sure her wrists, shoulders, hips, and knees were aligned, Bündchen—who dressed for her workout in a light gray ribbed tank top and slate gray leggings—demonstrated a bear plank while hovering several inches above the ground and tapping her knees down while inhaling. In a second variation, the former Victoria’s Secret model then began doing bear crawl jacks, where she kept the same position but jumped her legs out in a crouched stance to engage her core. Then, Bündchen launched into a variation of hip dips, keeping her legs bent as she dipped her obliques from side to side. In her fourth position, she resumed her bear position and alternated tapping her feet. Finally, in the same crouched stance, she alternated bringing her knees towards her face.

The mom-of-three emphasized the importance of breathwork for engaging her core, revealing she was squeezing her abs every time she exhaled during the short but difficult circuit. While initially challenging, Bündchen revealed she’d gotten stronger and worked her way up from five sets to 20.

Bündchen has previously shared a glimpse into her active lifestyle with her fans, including jet-skiing in Miami and oceanside yoga. “If there’s one thing I’d recommend to everyone, it’s this: move your body,” she previously captioned a video of her doing yoga moves in a bikini on the beach. “Your body is your home and it was made to move. Movement is medicine.”
