Foundry Gym Worcester promises to offer an array of areas, equipment and classes when it opens its doors in a huge former builders’ warehouse.
They include strength and free-weights, with dumbbells up to 70kg, functional training, including a boxing ring and bags, and ample cardio equipment.
A bespoke HYROX arena — for followers of the indoor functional fitness and running craze — and Padel courts are also among the facilities at the gym in Navigation Road, which has the target opening date of Saturday, September 5.

In a video on TikTok, the owners said of the arena: “It’s bespoke, it’s huge, it’s the biggest in the UK.”
However they added that the complicated logistics involved meant that a previous opening date this month had slipped, with customers given free membership of a sister gym in Bromsgrove instead.
The gym is set to open 24/7, 365 days a year and also promises a supplement shop, two hours’ free parking and cutting-edge Hammer Strength equipment.
The Foundry has released social media videos giving an inside look at the work in progress at the gym.
Co-owners Nathan Demonte and Theo Robinson have set the arena within 30,000 sq ft of training space at the 24/7 venue next to Diglis Playing Fields.

Boxing, MMA, Reformer pilates, recovery areas and state-of-the-art equipment are also promised for the ‘complete fitness hub’.
“The fitness industry has impacted our lives for the better and we want to share that with as many people as possible,” Mr Demonte has said.
“We believe that when you look after yourself and take care of your body it impacts everything from your social skills to everyday tasks.
“If we can give that to as many people in Worcester as possible that would be amazing.”
The gym is opening in an ex-Jewson storage facility.
“It’s all gone to the council as per the procedure and they’ve assured us we’ve got nothing to worry about,” Mr Demonte has said.
“The gym is out of the way, it’s got 150 to 200 car parking spaces and there’s no nearby residential area to be affected by noise.
“So we’re getting the site spic and span ready for Worcester.”
The Foundry is inviting members to “immerse” themselves in the world of boxing and mixed martial arts, among other activities also including fitness classes.
