PureGym, the UK’s largest gym operator, will open its latest venue in Crawley Leisure Park at 12pm on 18th September 2026, expanding its footprint in West Sussex and offering a flexible, low-cost, no-contract membership model.
The 13,402 sq ft facility will feature more than 160 pieces of modern equipment.

The gym will include a functional zone, free weights area, fixed resistance machines, cardio equipment and a fitness studio.
A variety of classes will be included in the membership price, and certified personal trainers will be available for support alongside a free initial exercise induction.
The site, located near Hollywood Bowl, Cineworld and Wagamama’s in Crawley Leisure Park, will also offer free parking for members.
PureGym Crawley will create 12 new jobs in the health and fitness sector and help to drive footfall at the leisure park.
The company also runs a Personal Training Academy, allowing individuals to become certified PTs in just 14 weeks with a job guaranteed upon completion.
The academy offers ongoing PT business support and opportunities for career progression into management roles.
PureGym has emphasised its commitment to member safety, with automated external defibrillators (AEDs) installed in all its gyms.
This is part of the company’s TrainSafe commitment and the work it’s doing with the British Heart Foundation to improve heart health across the nation.
