A spokesperson for Snap Fitness said: “Seeing these preview images start to become a reality is going to be incredibly exciting.

“With this being a large, open space, we’re creating a welcoming and inviting gym where everyone feels at home.

“We know that walking into a gym for the first time can feel intimidating, which is why we’ve focused on building a space that’s inclusive, supportive and somewhere people genuinely feel comfortable.”

The Reformer Pilates studio will be open 24/7, with instructor-led sessions and touchscreen access to more than 800 on-demand video workouts.

Facilities will include a dedicated Spin studio and a multi-purpose studio, alongside market-leading Hammer Strength and Life Fitness equipment.

An infrared sauna and recovery zone will also be available, and free parking will be provided for members.

Users will be able to access more than 1,000 Snap Fitness clubs worldwide as part of their membership.

The gym will operate under a franchise model and will be the first Snap Fitness location for the two new franchisees.

It is expected to create several jobs in the area and support community growth.
