Transparent Labs and David Laid recently announced a partnership and have quickly expanded upon that by going into product development. The two have worked together on a pre-workout, a signature version of Bulk, formulated around Laid’s demands and training style. The collaboration features a slightly different color scheme to set it apart from the regular Bulk in white and blue, and to top it off, it has David Laid’s autograph on the front.
The great thing about Transparent Labs is that it’s always open and true to its name: transparent. You can see that in its David Laid Bulk pre-workout, as this isn’t just the usual Bulk with a different look; the two have really worked on this, using a few alternative ingredients for a different balance of benefits. Compared to the original, Laid’s version drives up the energy with double the caffeine at 400mg, even more than the potent Bulk Black at 325mg. The collaboration adds even more stimulation with 250mg of the potent Dynamine also in the mix.
Transparent Labs and David Laid have stepped up the focus side of the Bulk pre-workout too, doubling the amount of tyrosine to 2g, and swapping out alpha-GPC and the calming theanine for a solid half-gram dose of the proven Cognizin. To better enhance muscle pumps, another key area of David Laid’s Bulk, the supplement includes agmatine, pure citrulline instead of citrulline malate, and the premium ingredient Nitrosigine at its full 1.5g.
While the special edition Bulk has dialed up the energy, focus, and pumps, it has simultaneously dialed down the performance and endurance portion, taking out beta-alanine altogether as well as one of our favorite pre-workout ingredients in Senactiv.
The newly released supplement collaboration is available straight from Transparent Labs’ online store, where you see its premium-level price tag. While the regular Bulk is $49.99 and Bulk Black is $54.99, the David Laid Bulk pre-workout has gone above the $60 mark to $64.99 for a tub of 30 servings. There is also a box of 15 single-serving stick packs, so half as much, at $44.99, and both come in sweet and refreshing Strawberry Kiwi flavor.
