TruGym Ipswich, located on Ranelagh Road, has invested more than £100,000 in brand-new Life Fitness cardio equipment as part of a wider improvement programme.

The new machines were installed on September 10, 2026 and include treadmills, cross trainers, upright bikes and recumbent bikes.
Marcin Piotr, general manager of truGym Ipswich, said: “Our aim is to continue investing in the club and create a modern, affordable health and wellbeing centre for the Ipswich community.”
The investment is part of a broader improvement programme that will see further upgrades, including a new sauna and additional strength and functional training equipment.
TruGym Ipswich opened in November 2021 following a refurbishment of the former Ransomes Sports Club.

The facility now offers a gym, swimming pool, fitness studios and spa facilities.
Part of the wider truGym chain, the Ipswich site has established itself as one of the town’s larger fitness centres, attracting members from across Ipswich and surrounding areas.
The gym caters to individuals of all ages and abilities.
