Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and California’s Great America announced recently that it will host national hiring week events at locations in Vallejo and Santa Clara from Feb. 14 to Feb. 22. The company announced that it intends to fill more than 50,000 positions across its parks in North America, including 250 part-time and seasonal roles in Northern California.
“2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for our parks in Northern California, bringing an unmatched variety of entertainment and experiences to our guests,” said Adam Shinnick, Regional Director of People & Culture for Six Flags. “Our associates play an instrumental role in delivering these memorable experiences and the wide array of positions allows us to match an applicant’s skills and career goals to the right job.”
Roles will be open in ride operations, food and beverage, admissions, entertainment, retail, EMT/paramedics, security, lifeguards, animal care and more. The company’s Rapid Hiring Program allows applicants an expedited online option at sixflagsjobs.com.

The Vallejo location at 1001 Fairgrounds Drive will host events on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 2,1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
“California’s Great America opens for the season on March 28,” a press release regarding the announcement reads. “Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is open year-round. Hurricane Harbor Concord will also be holding their own hiring events in the spring in anticipation of the start of their operating season, which begins May 16.”
