One person was killed and several others seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a multivehicle crash in San Jose, police said.
Officers responded to the collision around South White Road and Lieb Court around 5 p.m., the San Jose Police Department reported.
One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, and several others were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries, police said.
Police closed all lanes of South White Road between Story Road and Lochner Drive and advised drivers to use alternative routes while officers investigated the crash.
