LOS GATOS – A 63-year-old Los Gatos man who was involved in a fight last summer after reportedly recording youths with his phone has been arrested, police said.
The incident happened on Aug. 28, 2025, on Los Gatos Boulevard, between Nino and Spencer avenues, according to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department.
“Upon arriving, officers learned that the altercation involved an individual who had reportedly been seen filming juveniles with his cellular phone,” police said in a statement.
Following an investigation, detectives submitted the case to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
“Based on evidence collected during the course of the investigation, an arrest warrant was subsequently issued this week,” police said.
The man self-surrendered Wednesday afternoon at the police department. He was arrested on suspicion of annoying or molesting a child under 18 and booked into the Main Jail in San Jose.
