Mixé

Thanks to the tipster who let us know that the mezcal and espresso bar Mixé in Uptown Oakland has quietly closed. It’s reported as permanently closed on Yelp and the website is also no longer working. Mixé opened in the former Calavera space toward the end of 2024. Mixé was located at 2337 Broadway, Oakland

Souk Savanh 2.0

It appears after opening for a short time in Uptown, this Thai Lao restaurant is closing. In an Instagram post, the restaurant operators pointed, in part, to landlord disputes as the issue. Souk Savanh 2.0 was located at 1707 Telegraph Ave., Oakland
