SAN JOSE — A body was found Wednesday at a waste facility in San Jose, police said.
Officers were summoned to the facility in the 700 block of Los Esteros Road for a report of a deceased person around 12:50 p.m., according to a San Jose police spokesperson.
The spokesperson did not identify the facility, but the GreenWaste Zanker Resource Recovery Facility is located in that area.
“We are working with the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner to determine the circumstances,” the spokesperson said. “The investigation is active and ongoing.”
