Firefighters battle 10-acre fire southwest of San Jose – NBC Bay Area

Firefighters are battling a 10-acre fire southwest of San Jose.

Cal Fire said aviation and ground resources were on the scene of the McKean Fire, which has burned 10 acres in the area of Almaden Road and Mountain Drive, southwest of San Jose.

Authorities said the fire has a moderate rate of spread and asked the public to avoid the rea to allow fire equipment and personnel safe access.
