AUTO BURGLARY: 8:04 a.m. on Blossom Valley Drive. An unknown suspect broke the window to a man’s work truck and stole his tools.
PETTY THEFT: 1:15 p.m. at Rotten Robbies on Los Gatos Boulevard. A woman was pumping gas when a man got into her car and stole her purse.
VEHICLE ACCIDENT: 2:08 p.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and northbound Highway 17. There was a single bike accident on the creek trail from Highway 9 at Highway 17. A man was on the ground, bleeding from the mouth.
July 31
BURGLARY: 4:04 a.m. on Vasona Avenue. A man was sleeping when he noticed a strange light coming from downstairs. The resident saw a masked man in his house and yelled at him and chased him out of his house. The suspect ran out the back door, leaving it open.
Aug. 1
JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 12:23 a.m. on Clearview Drive. A group of juveniles in a smaller early 2000s white pickup truck were driving around recklessly, tires squealing. The incident ended with a cite and release arrest.
Aug. 2
VANDALISM: 11:50 p.m. on Vasona Court. A caller said they had another person stay at their house for security purposes. The housesitter said they left at 6 or 7 a.m., but video footage showed they left around 8 a.m. The caller came home and found damage to the kitchen window.
