TRESPASS: 3 a.m. at Netflix. An Asian man in his 20s or 30s was reported possibly intoxicated and taking photos and videos outside the building. He was asked to leave and not return. Around 12:44 p.m., he returned near the lobby in front of the building. He was arrested on a misdemeanor.
PETTY THEFT: 12:22 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A known customer stole a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey. The caller told police that the man was possibly unhoused and “doesn’t seem right.” He was arrested on a misdemeanor.
Aug. 4
TRESPASS: 12:08 p.m. at Whole Foods on Los Gatos Boulevard. A trespasser was arrested on a misdemeanor.
Aug. 7
BATTERY: 12:24 a.m. at Number One Broadway on South Santa Cruz Avenue. Around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, a man pushed the caller’s 24-year-old daughter to the ground, and she suffered a compound fracture to her left wrist.
BATTERY: 7:45 p.m. at Out Of The Barrel on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A caller said that a white man in his 50s yelled at and pushed them in the bar. The man then followed the caller out of the bar, then both parties went their separate ways. No further exchange happened outside, and there were no injuries. The man was cited and released.
Aug. 8
MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATION: 5:11 p.m. on Bonnie Lane. A resident called the police on behalf of their neighbors who weren’t homr to report that one of their other neighbors was cutting down a tree that they are having a dispute over.
