GRAND THEFT: 11:09 p.m. at Panera Bread on Los Gatos Boulevard. A woman said she believed her phone was stolen in the restaurant. She has been communicating with the thief after the caller offered her $200 for her phone.
Sept. 11
DRUNK IN PUBLIC: 9:49 a.m. at Sweet Peas Cafe on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A man fell out of his wheelchair across the street from the cafe and was covered in his own feces. He also had a large bottle of alcohol next to him. He was cited and released.
VANDALISM: 7:20 p.m. on Bachman Avenue. Sometime between Monday and Friday, gas was taken out of a generator attached to a business trailer in the parking lot. The caller said it also appeared that someone tried to take the generator because multiple locks were tampered with or broken.
TRESPASS: 7:28 p.m. at Legacy Community Church on Lark Avenue. A man refused to leave after he had been told to do so multiple times. He was arrested on a misdemeanor.
Sept. 12
GRAND THEFT: 11:56 a.m. at Sephora on University Avenue. On Sept. 7, approximately $1,200 of merchandise was stolen.
TRESPASS: 2:07 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A man in a wheelchair who had previously trespassed at the store was taking alcohol on Friday and Saturday. He took a bottle of Smirnoff on Sunday. He was cited and released.
TRESPASS: 5:25 p.m. on South Santa Cruz Avenue. An unhoused person set up camp in front of the office for Willow Street Pizza. He was cited and released.
Sept. 13
VEHICLE ACCIDENT: 12:06 p.m. at Garden Hill and Lark Avenue. A vehicle hit a juvenile, who was conscious and breathing.
GRAND THEFT: 3 p.m. at Wedgewood Manor on Lora Drive. Three pedal bicycles were stolen from a carport The loss was just under $2,000.
BATTERY: 11:27 p.m. at Aventino Apartments on Winchester Circle. A man kicked someone out of his apartment. That person then asked him to come look at his vandalized car, punched him several times and beat him to the floor. The man declined medical attention.
