Latin music star Karol G is headed back to the Bay Area.
The Colombian singer will bring her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Aug. 21, promoter Live Nation announced Tuesday, April 21.
The stop is part of a 39-date stadium tour in support of her fifth studio album, “Tropicoqueta.” It is named after the single “Viajando Por El Mundo,” a collaboration with Manu Chao.
She is scheduled to perform across North America, South America and Europe, with additional cities expected. U.S. dates include Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta and Miami.
Tickets go on sale starting Monday, April 27, through a series of presales. Fans must register at karolgmusic.com by 7 a.m. Friday, April 24, to access the artist presale, according to Live Nation. General sales will vary by city.
Karol G, born Carolina Giraldo Navarro, has become one of the most dominant figures in global pop and reggaetón, known for hits like “Tusa,” “Provenza” and “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” She made history as the first woman to debut a Spanish-language album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 2023’s “Mañana Será Bonito,” helping push Latin music further into the mainstream.
The tour announcement follows her recent Coachella headlining performances, which Rolling Stone called a “show-stopping spectacle” celebrating Latin music. It marked the first time a Latina artist has headlined the Southern California music festival.
The announcement of the upcoming trek arrives on the heels of her blockbuster “Mañana Será Bonito” world tour, which sold more than 2.3 million tickets across 62 shows and grossed more $300 million, according to Live Nation.
Her 2025 album, “Tropicoqueta,” became her fourth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and logged the biggest U.S. streaming week ever for a Latin album by a woman.
Karol G last played Levi’s Stadium in 2023. That same year, her track “Watiti” was featured on the “Barbie” movie soundtrack.
A teaser video for Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour shows the singer packing costumes and props into a truck set to her song “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” hinting at a large-scale production.
