GRAND THEFT: 5:04 p.m. at Vitality Bowls on North Santa Cruz Avenue. The caller had parked and locked her turquoise Trek ebike in front of a business. When she came back, she found that someone had cut the bike lock and stolen her ebike for a loss of about $3,000. The broken chain was left on the ground.

May 12

PETTY THEFT: 12:31 p.m. on Vista Del Mar. Someone stole mail. The caller said she was notified by her bank that someone was attempting to cash some checks.

PETTY THEFT: 2:39 p.m. at Trader Joes on Los Gatos Boulevard. A purse containing a wallet, cell phone and other items was stolen.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:05 p.m. on Cherrystone Drive. The caller said two juveniles dumped soda on the caller’s front porch and put ham on his Ring camera.

May 14

PETTY THEFT: 9:34 a.m. on Nina Court. A check for $4,478 was stolen, possibly from the mailbox. It appeared that somone wrote over the “pay to” line and mobile-deposited it to Wells Fargo

GRAND THEFT: 5:07 p.m. at United Methodist Church on Church Street. The caller took a shower at the church. Then he went to the bank and discovered his envelope of money was gone. He was going back to the church to see if anyone turned it in, but he believed it may have been stolen

PETTY THEFT: 8:17 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Two people walked out with alcohol and peanuts without paying

PARKING VIOLATION: 11:09 a.m.at Andrews Sreet and North Santa Cruz Avenue. An older gold Jaguar was parked two feet away from curb with its doors open and cheese on top. The registration tags on the car expired in 2023.
