plank
The large outdoor beer garden with bocce ball courts, arcade, bowling alley, and restaurant announced it is closing its doors later this summer after nearly a dozen years in Jack London Square. The 45,500 square foot entertainment space that opened in 2014 was custom built for the area after Barnes and Noble shuttered in 2010. Plank stated that slow sales in the past two years combined with rising costs as the reason for it closing. Plank is slated to close on August 2. plank, 98 Broadway, Oakland
