PETTY THEFT: 9:08 p.m. on East Main Street. A suspect entered the caller’s business and posed as a patient. While the caller was with another client, the suspect went through the caller’s desk and purse, stole cash and credit cards, then used the cards at various stores.
June 23
GRAND THEFT: 4:44 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A suspect stole the store’s iPad and miscellaneous personal care items at 4:30 a.m. June 21. The loss was estimated at $470. The possible suspect was described as a heavyset man in his early 30s, wearing all black clothing and driving a bronze Chevrolet SUV. He may have worked at the store.
June 24
VANDALISM: 12:53 p.m. on Shelburne Way. A suspect from a neighboring business keyed a customer’s car June 22 after recent disputes between the businesses over parking. The customer’s car had been parked in the neighboring business’s parking spot.
June 26
GRAND THEFT: 1:12 a.m. at Safeway on Union Avenue. A man reporter that a male suspect had stolen his bike about two hours earlier.
June 27
COLLISION: 6:03 p.m. at Montgomery Street and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A blue Ford F-150 and a black Tesla were involved in a crash. No injuries were reported. The Tesla driver refused to exchange information. The report ended in a cite-and-release arrest.
June 28
PETTY THEFT: 2:32 p.m. at Tamarack Apartments on University Avenue. An orange Rallye bike was stolen from an enclosed carport between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday.
