In addition to the large restaurant that dominates the new Asia Live experience at Santa Clara’s Westfield Valley Fair Mall, the location also sells retail treats, teas and condiments for customers to take home under the China Live brand, which is owned by the same people.

At the front of the restaurant is a curated selection of high-end chocolates (called the “Great Wall” of chocolate) plus an array of housemade condiments, teas and signature snacks.
Available for to-go purchase are several China Live-branded products that racked up wins at the 2022 Good Food Awards.

Chef Chen’s Famous Chili Crisp ($16)
Made with wok-fired ingredients like garlic and fried shallots, this chili crisp is made weekly in small batches in San Francisco. It blends dried chili flakes with rice bran oil, broad bean paste, fermented soybeans, rice wine, pepper, black beans and more into a condiment that elevates the flavor profile of home-cooked dishes like avocado toasts, eggs or pasta sauce.
Peking Duck Fat Popcorn ($15)
This indulgent caramel corn blends sweet and savory elements for a delightful snacking experience. Small-batch caramel popcorn and cracklings are melded with the rendered fat from Peking duck that’s been prepared and roasted over three days.

Broken Fortune Cookies With Dark Chocolate ($13)
What’s better than broken fortune cookies? Fortune cookies drizzled with decadent dark chocolate. The crunchiness and mild sweetness of the fortune cookies hold up well against a firm dark chocolate coat. The varied forms of the fortune cookie pieces add a level of novelty to each bite, giving each a different crunch for a highly satisfying snack.
Silk Road Blossom Herbal Tea ($30)
A gorgeous blend of loose-leaf tea and dried flowers, this tea blend yields a dark red brew with caramel and dark honey hints. It’s high in antioxidants and is made with chrysanthemum, baby chamomile, hawthorn, jujube, rose, longan, goji berry and lotus seed. The tea is sourced directly from farmers in Taiwan and China, according to the brand’s online shop.
