SAN JOSE — A three-building tech campus in San Jose that includes air taxi company Archer Aviation as one of its tenants defaulted on an $80 million loan, documents filed on Oct. 9 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.

The delinquent loan was issued to a group linked to real estate investment firm KU Education in 2016 by Jefferies Loancore, documents show. The delinquent loan’s maturity date was in August, at which time the financing was due to be paid in full.

The campus at 190, 210 and 230 West Tasman Drive totals 287,371 square feet, a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission shows.

Archer Aviation leases the 190 and 210 West Tasman buildings.

Itron Networked Solutions had been a tenant in the 210 and 230 West Tasman buildings until the tech company decided to exit North San Jose and relocate its headquarters to Santa Clara.
