Veterans Park in Carson will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the city’s annual Winterfest celebration on Friday, Dec. 5. The event, hosted in partnership with the Carson Citizens Cultural Arts Foundation, brings the community together every year to celebrate the holiday season.

This year, there will be a snow run, arts and crafts, food vendors, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus. Guests will also have the opportunity to ride in horse-drawn hay wagons.

“We are proud to partner once again with the Carson Citizens Cultural Arts Foundation to bring this magical event to our community,” said Carson Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes. “Winterfest is a special opportunity for families to come together, make memories, and celebrate the season in a safe, fun and festive environment.”

During the celebration, the Carson Citizens Cultural Arts Foundation and Shriners Hospitals will donate toys for children in attendance.

The community is invited to join the festivities from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Veterans Park, 22400 Moneta Ave.
