These are some haute potatoes!
The Lower East Side shop Bel-Fries is bringing back its wildly popular $10 caviar french fries, which went viral with a staggering 3 million social media views when they debuted in September.
“We were having lines down the street and we realized people don’t really have a casual place to indulge in a premium product like caviar at such a low price,” Bel-Fries owner Annalee Schlossberg told The Post about the limited 10-day run last month.

“But I did not expect it to go this viral at all.”
New Yorkers thought the Belgian fries — loaded with sour cream, scallions and a scoop of caviar — which are fry-nally returning on Oct. 22 for another short stay, were spud-tastic.
“The balance of boujee and casual is my favorite,” one commented on the shop’s Instagram post.
“And for $10! What a steal!” another added.
Schlossberg, 26, said she’s able to keep the price tag on the savory snacks low because they are served “hors d’oeuvre” style, which is a smaller portion than their regular fries.
The artisan fry shop on Ludlow Street — known for its 16 dipping sauces in flavors such as Roasted Garlic Aioli, Smoky Chipotle, Sriracha Mayo, Peanut Satay and Curry Mango — was “the first to ever do” caviar fries, said Schlossberg, a Manhattan native.

“Bel-Fries has always been about taking something simple and making it feel elevated, almost kind of like designer fries. That’s how we describe ourselves,” she said.

“So the caviar fries just made sense for us. It’s indulgent, playful, has that European edge, so it fits the vibe perfectly.”
The caviar fries are still not on its permanent menu because “scarcity creates demand,” she explained.
“Limited time specials usually crush it because everyone’s like, ‘Oh my God, it’s only here for a couple days. We got to go round and try it.’ Whereas if it’s on the menu permanently there’s no urgency … We want to keep everyone on their toes.”
