Saturday Night Live cast member Colin Jost and alum Pete Davidson are feeling the weight of their decommissioned Staten Island Ferry purchase.
The pair bought the John F. Kennedy, a 277-foot ferry and the oldest of its fleet, for $280,100. Although they initially planned to turn the ferry into an event space, including hotel rooms and two restaurants,
Jost and Davidson have failed to execute their grand, expensive vision. Now, four years after their purchase, Jost and Davidson accumulate tens of thousands of dollars in debt. This includes an outstanding $13,500 bill owed to law firm Nicoletti, Hornig, Namazi, Eckert & Sheehan, who sued the SNL cast members alongside their business partner, Paul Italia.
