Internationally-acclaimed master Pilates teacher Olga Roberts brings her first-ever studio to Austin, opening Jan. 12, located at 401 West 3rd St., Austin, Texas 78701. Olga’s practice combines classical ballet discipline, body intelligence and a legacy of master Pilates teachers to create a truly unique experience focused on resilience and longevity. The teachings at Olga Roberts Studio are crafted around transformation, not trend, forgoing the novelty of the practice by focusing on thoughtful instruction, research-informed practice, years of training and respect for the body’s architecture. Classes are designed for dancers, athletes and mindful movers of all backgrounds and ages. Members can sign up now to receive a special discounted rate via the website.

In honour of the studio opening, there will be a public Grand Opening Event happening on Thursday, February 26, from 4 to 6 pm. The evening will feature a guided tour of the new studio, and Olga will be speaking more about her practice and extensive training. There will also be live music and drinks available; more information can be found on the event page here. Media who wish to RSVP can email here.

Roberts states:

“With my forthcoming studio opening in downtown Austin, my vision expands into a dedicated space where tradition, research-based practice and thoughtful teaching converge. It will serve as a home for those who wish to move with intelligence, restore with intention and cultivate a body capable of both discipline and freedom.”

In addition to the main Pilates studio, Olga Roberts Studio will have a second studio space dedicated to movement classes such as adult ballet, real barre, deep stretching, fascia classes, flexibility, meditation, and select yoga offerings beginning January 16th. All classes are built with the same goal in mind, to guide movers at all levels toward strength, resilience and freedom through movement.

Roberts adds:

“My practice exists to help people discover that strength and elegance can live in harmony. That consistency, not perfection, is what builds both resilience and artistry.”

The new studio will also include amenities to support members’ wellness, like their infrared sauna with red light therapy to help aid recovery and circulation, paired with a cold plunge tank for contrast therapy. The studio has also custom-built a large, complimentary coffee machine, helping to elevate each session into a ritualistic practice for members.
