I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still recuperating from the psychological exhaustion of the winter holidays — and winter generally — so I’m not at all motivated to prepare another wealth of dishes for Easter.

Perhaps that makes this the perfect column, then, because this week we’re taking a look at the Easter brunch specials coming to Fort Worth April 5. This is ideal for those of us who want to let someone else make deviled eggs for us. And remember, you don’t have to celebrate the holiday to secure a spot at the table.

Black Rooster pastries at Clay Pigeon Food & Drink

Foodies with a thing for sweets might check out Clay Pigeon Food & Drink’s three-course prix-fixe brunch menu. According to a PR email, brunch kicks off with a round of pastries from Black Rooster Bakery and ends with to-go cookie bags.

First course options include Caesar salad with croutons and Parmigiano-Reggiano, tomato soup with feta and chives, and panzanella with arugula, prosciutto, roasted beets and stracciatella.

Among the entrees are eggs Benedict with home fries; lemon-berry French toast with mascarpone; duck confit hash with lyonnaise potatoes, fried egg and frisee; or a tavern burger with balsamic onions, figs, arugula and goat cheese with a side of home fries.

The kids menu offers French toast sticks with berries or scrambled eggs and bacon. Adults can order mimosas and bloody marys.

Brunch runs 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and is $55 per adult, $20 per child. Reservations can be made through Resy.

Pan-Latin buffet at Toro Toro

The Worthington Renaissance Hotel’s pan-Latin restaurant Toro Toro will host an Easter brunch buffet 10 a.m.-2 p.m., according to a PR email, with chicken and waffles, prime ribeye and kimchi salmon.

Their website also shows chimichurri, Chipotle Miso Grill Salmon and Rancher Outskirt Beef with potatoes on the special menu. Vegan marbled chimichurri potatoes and churro French toast are among other options, including dessert, salad and omelet stations.

A spot at the table costs $75 per adult and $20 for kids under 12 years old, while children 5 and under eat free. Complimentary valet parking is available.

Drinks, dishes and an Easter egg hunt at Omni Fort Worth Hotel

There’s something for everyone at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel, where an Easter egg hunt will keep the kids happy while the adults sip bottomless mimosas and champagne.

The brunch buffet promises seafood stations with a sushi and crudo bar, a section for seafood on ice, such as smoked salmon, as well as plain and everything bagels. Other menu options include eggs to order, a Spring Lamb & White Bean Soup special, breakfast dishes like eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs with potato wedges, or pull up to the salad or meat carving stations.

The pastry selection includes chocolate Danishes, Parmesan-chile lavash, scallion baguettes, rosemary focaccia, and cinnamon hot cross buns — a classic. They’ll also have a waffle bar and charcuterie spread.

Reservations can be placed on OpenTable.com.
