One of the biggest moments in Dallas-Fort Worth food in 2025, the announcement of which Texas restaurants will receive a Michelin star, happens Oct. 28, 2025, in Houston.
A select number of chefs and restaurateurs have been asked to attend the mysterious ceremony. Members of the public are not invited.
New in 2025, Michelin will not livestream the ceremony on YouTube, as it did in 2024. Which means: Those who care about getting restaurant results in real time should consider refreshing dallasnews.com/michelin early and often. The Dallas Morning News will post breaking news on Michelin star recipients in Dallas-Fort Worth.
The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2025. TEGNA-owned TV stations in Texas will show the Michelin ceremony on their streaming platforms.
