NEW DEAL, Texas (KCBD) – New Deal Fire and EMS teams will be out in the community tonight for a training exercise.
The mapping and location awareness exercise will begin around 7 p.m. The goal is to sharpen crews’ knowledge of streets, neighborhoods, and landmarks to quicken response times during emergencies.
Residents who see fire apparatus and EMS units in the area are invited to say hello. Anyone with an emergency during the exercise is asked to call 911.
