North Texas Food Bank, the University of North Texas at Dallas and Services of Hope will distribute meals to about 1,300 families during a drive-through event on Friday, Dec. 19, according to a city of Dallas news release.
The event is in partnership with the city and Dallas County, which have put $2 million toward helping those in need.
It will take place at 7300 University Hills Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the release said.
The event is free to students, staff, faculty and community members and does not require registration.
