Lostock Hall gym host first fitness event for Lancashire Mind Charity

A gym in South Ribble have raised £400 for Lancashire Mind.

The AK Active Group in Lostock Hall, welcomed their community to the Aktive Games on Saturday 23 August.

The gym, who aims to create an accessible and enjoyable environment, hosted the morning consisting of a HYROX training plan to the local charity.

The group ran, rowed and jumped their way to become finishers of the clubs first ever Aktive games.

This isn’t the first time the group raised money for Lancashire Mind, through their lockdown challenges to help improve people’s mental health.

Previously being named ‘Lancashire’s best mental health supporting gym’, the business continues to support mental health services as well as physical.
