West Sand Lake, NY (WRGB) — October 10 is World Mental Health Day, and one fitness educator is taking the opportunity to promote personal fitness and mental health at the same time.

For Karli Famelette, it’s also a personal mission; she’s an eating disorder survivor who’s become an outspoken advocate for eating disorder awareness within mental health and wellness conversations.

Saturday morning at June Farms, Karli will lead a free “Goat Yoga” session. Along with the goats (and pigs, and maybe even chickens), there will be wellness practitioners on hand. The yoga session is sponsored by The Hot Spot and Lululemon, which will be doing giveaways.

Goat yoga starts at 10 a.m. Saturday. June Farms will also be open for walks, and its pony barn will be open.

Karli says don’t bring a good yoga mat—the goats like to chew on them!
