Earlier today the @mad_fitness_festival Instagram account made three posts outlining the 2026 CrossFit Games schedule. The second post, which included the timeframe for Semifinals, included a logo for the MAD Fitness Festival.

The account is run by MAD Events. If you are not familiar with them, they used to run the Madrid Championship and last hear hosted Wodland Fest, one of the In-Person Qualifying Events for the 2025 CrossFit Games.
In 2026, however, it appears their competition is getting a bit of a rebrand. With Wodland Fest’s Instagram account not making a post since this past May, it appears that the new Semifinal in Europe, run by the same organization, will be called the MAD Fitness Festival.
The Instagram account has repurposed the Madrid Championship account and has renamed it @mad_fitness_festival.
No additional details have been released such as location or dates, but all signs point to this being the second Semifinal competition within Europe for the 2026 CrossFit Games season.
The other European Semifinal, the French Throwdown, announced earlier today that it will be held May 15-17.
