Snap Fitness Winton will be the 108th UK and Ireland location for the franchise and will be run by first-time franchisee and Bournemouth local, Josh Glover.
Mr Glover worked in retail for more than 20 years, including 17 years working for Co-Op, most recently as a store manager in Bournemouth, before deciding to make a career change last year and become a gym owner.
Mr Glover said: “I wanted to create something that genuinely helps people and Snap Fitness felt like the right fit.

“I feel so many gyms have lost that family vibe and that’s something that’s really important to me.”
The gym, which is located above Wilko on Wimborne Road, will be the first UK and Ireland Snap Fitness to have a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio.
The gym has more than 9,000 sq ft of space, which includes top of the range equipment, group exercise classes, a recovery area with an infrared sauna, and more.
Mr Glover added: “High streets need investment and I feel we’re doing our part to help revitalise Winton.
“We just that we can’t wait to open and get everyone in.
“It’s been a long time coming.”
