Hollyoaks has revealed a shocking update about Jez Blake and Liberty Savage’s relationship, as they shock their family next week.
Jez recently confessed his supposed feelings for Liberty to stop her finding out about his string of murders – but this led to them becoming embroiled in a sordid affair.
This week, Jez was set to marry John Paul, but his fiancé ended up calling off the wedding at the altar as he had grown tired of his lies.
A devastating chain of events then unfolded, resulting in Jez brutally murdering Mercedes’ son Bobby to stop his crimes from being exposed.

Liberty is still secretly infatuated with Jez, and in next week’s scenes, she checks in on him following the breakdown of his relationship.
Jez uses the opportunity to make a move on her, but Liberty pulls away from him. Her feelings are real, and she needs him to prove that he’s serious about their relationship before things go any further.
Meanwhile, John Paul continues to spiral after relapsing on his wedding day. He is comforted by his ex Ste but misreads the situation and tries to kiss him.

With The Dog officially reopening its doors next week, Jez, Liberty, Sienna and Dodger head to the pub together to celebrate. John Paul spots Jez and decides to speak to him for the first time since their failed wedding.
But when John Paul approaches, he is coldly dismissed by Jez. To make it clear that there is no way back for them as a couple, Jez then shocks everyone by publicly kissing Liberty.
Sienna and Dodger struggle to believe what they are seeing and are left reeling by their half-sister and biological dad’s passionate display.

It appears that Jez and Liberty’s controversial romance has gone from secret to official. But the family are divided over this, with Sienna and Dodger rejecting this shocking new relationship.
Wanting to separate himself from this tense family drama, Dodger decides to instead focus his energy on getting to the bottom of his cousin Dennis’ death – after his remains were sadly found this week.
Viewers know that it was Jez who murdered Dennis, so with Dodger determined to solve the crime, will he uncover Jez as a serial killer?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
