The supplements listed below are possibly contaminated, including one linked to a Salmonella outbreak impacting multiple states. Here’s the information you’ll need to check to see if your supplement is affected. If you have a recalled product on hand, dispose of it immediately or return to your place of purchase for a refund.

Costco Supplements

In Canada, there’s a recall on Costco women’s multivitamins due to a possible foreign matter contamination, the company’s website says. No products sold in the U.S. are currently affected.

The impacted supplements are Kirkland Signature Women 50+ multivitamin and minerals tablets with code “5J46568W7” and expiration date “FE/2028” printed on the neck of the bottles. They have been sold online and at Canadian Costco warehouses since February 2026.

A voluntary recall was announced after the “potential presence of loose metal pieces” was found in one of the supplement bottles. There have been no incidences of injury or illness in connection to this recall, but consult with a healthcare provider with any concerns.

Liquid Multivitamins

Nephronex liquid multivitamins were recalled in 24 states and regions, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to a foreign matter contamination.

The multivitamin contained vitamin B-complex, vitamin C and folic acid, and were sold in 8-fluid-ounce bottles with a printed lot code of “B2025” and expiration date “08/27.” The recalled vitamins could have been purchased from February 2026 through May in the following regions: Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

While no injuries have been connected to this recall, the supplement is being recalled due to “black particles” found in the product. Seek medical attention with any health concerns, and check your multivitamin for the recall information.

Moringa

Moringa capsules are being investigated in a Salmonella outbreak, per the FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As of May 27, there have been 18 illnesses across 14 states in connection to this outbreak.

The specific product recalled due to this outbreak is MOGO Pure Moringa Oleifera capsules with a lot number of “15525AA” or “00926AA” and an expiration date of June 2027 or January 2028 on the bottle, respectively. The greens powder supplement was sold online on Amazon, eBay and mogomoringa.com nationwide.

This outbreak has caused seven hospitalizations. Salmonella infection (salmonellosis) can be severe for immunocompromised individuals. If you are experiencing symptoms of infection—like watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, headaches and loss of appetite—after consuming the supplement, contact a healthcare professional immediately.
