A New York-based company is voluntarily recalling certain moringa supplements sold nationwide due to possible Salmonella contamination, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

Total Nutrition Inc. announced the recall of select lots of TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood Moringa capsules and Doctor’s Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa capsules. The products were sold online through Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Target, and the companies’ websites.

The recall follows notification from the FDA and CDC that the supplements may be linked to an ongoing investigation involving moringa-containing dietary products.

Consumers are urged to not take the recalled supplements and should dispose of them immediately. The company says customers may contact it for a refund.

No other TNVitamins or Doctor’s Pride products are affected.
