Horlicks has launched a protein powder containing 24 g of fermented yeast protein and 4 g of prebiotic fibre per serving. The product is available in single-serve sachets and comes in Chocolate, Coffee and Unflavored variants.
The powder is packed as 28 single-serve sachets in a 1 kg pack. The product is now available through retail outlets and select online platforms in India.

The product uses fermented yeast protein, which Horlicks says provides all nine essential amino acids. The finished product has a PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility-Corrected Amino Acid Score) of 1.0. It also contains inulin, a prebiotic fibre, and papain, a plant-derived digestive enzyme. The fermented yeast protein is naturally lactose-free.
