“I am by no means a protein powder consumer, but knowing that most men and women don’t get enough from their diet alone, I was keen to try this out.
“I tried True Protein’s Rich Chocolate Plant Protein and was pleasantly surprised by how palatable and smooth it was. Not a hint of grittiness, and no expected ‘earthy’ aftertaste.
“Being a bit of a gut health nerd, I was happy to find out that this plant protein also contains clinically proven doses of probiotics and digestive enzymes — both good for me and it tastes like a chocolate bar!
“I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to full-time incorporate this into my daily routine, but I’m definitely going to try with summer coming around.
“As a runner, I regularly find myself unnaturally hungry throughout the day. This could be just the trick to stop me from consuming my body weight in office lollies.”

“I tried the Strawberry and Cream Prrotein Powder this week and honestly, it surprised me in the best way.
“The first thing I noticed when I opened the bag was the smell – it actually reminded me of dessert. Sweet, fruity and a little creamy, it already felt more indulgent than your standard chalky protein.
“The taste lived up to the scent too. It had that classic strawberry-and-cream flavour, not artificial or overpowering, just smooth and balanced. The texture was easy to drink as well, no weird clumps or powdery aftertaste.
“I can definitely see myself having this in a smoothie each morning. It would be perfect with frozen berries, a banana for a quick breakfast, or even just shaken up with water if I’m in a rush. It feels like a treat but still ticks the box for protein, which is exactly what I want in a supplement.
“Overall, I’d say this flavour makes it easy to stay consistent with my protein shakes, because I actually look forward to having it. A win for both tastebuds and routine.”

“I found this Salted Caramel Protein Powder very tasty.
“The mild caramel, stevia flavour is a little too present for my palate but I reckon it would go great in a cashew and date smoothie or mixed through porridge.
“I tried it with water and would give it a 7.5 out of 10. I reckon in milk it would closer to a 9/10.”

“I tried the Vanilla Plant Protein flavour mixed with water and really enjoyed it.
“As a vegan, it can be hard to find a nice tasting and affordable plant-based protein powder. For my next protein-boosted sip, I will probably mix it with oat or almond milk for that thicker consistency.”

“I had the Choc Peanut Butter flavour with milk and enjoyed it.
“As someone who has dipped in and out of having protein powders, I appreciate the range of flavours as often it can just be vanilla or chocolate with little variety.
“It will probably get me back on the protein bandwagon!”

“I’m by no means an avid protein shake drinker, but I was intrigued to try out True Protein purely based on all the five-star reviews.
“Being someone with a sweet tooth I nabbed a packet of Salted Caramel and figured it would be the perfect post-lunch treat.
“Non-gritty, surprisingly tasty (I mixed mine with soy milk) it had zero strange aftertaste. A win!”

“I tried the chocolate flavour with milk instead of water, which was the correct choice.
“The protein powders I’ve had are packed with protein but drowned in sugar, causing me to break out in acne. I would rather have clear skin than big muscles.
“But this protein powder is high in protein AND has little sugar, and still tastes so good. Despite the protein, the powder is still rich in chocolate so, this was definitely one of the better protein powders out there!”
